Bahria Town (Pvt) Ltd has once again been honored for its immense contribution towards Environmental; Health & Safety in “Housing and Development” sector, by the National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH).Talking about the organization, The NFEH is the country’s foremost, non-governmental organization that enables its members to augment their environmental efficiencies whilst bringing on better improvements in general health and Safety with the use of best practices on board.
The NFEH is associated with the United Nations Environmental Program (UNEP), which functions in association with the Ministry of Environment (MOE), and Ministry of Environment, Sindh. The 11th Annual Environment Excellence Awards were been awarded to the Bahroia town at Lahore on September 27th in a special ceremony held by the NFEH. Governor Punjab, Chaudary Muhammad Sarwar appeared as the chief guest of the event. Senior General Manager, Lt. Col Khalid Masood Malik (Ret) accepted the prestigious award on behalf of Bahria Town which has come up as the first Housing and Development Company to be in the receiving of this prestigious award.

Bahria town has listed itself in the elite category of world’s most renowned real estate developers and second consecutive time, they have won the 5 new awards at the Asia Pacific International Property Awards 2013-14 held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Moreover, the 3 of the 5 awards they won came from the “5 star category” while the other two were been ranked as “highly recommended”.
Also, these awards are highly recognized as the top standard of excellence across the Bahria town global real estate industry and attracted the top real estate developers from various countries like China, Japan, Australia, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan, New Zealand, India and so on. With all the big names bringing their participation in the coveted event, it has become the biggest International property awards event held in its 19 years history. Bahria Town, the London Neurosurgery Partnership and the London Neurosciences Centre have agreed to built a spinal and neurosurgery facility at two Bahria Town hospitals. More ever, Bahria Town CEO Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain and the top 19 surgeons from London’s world-renowned Harley Street Clinic were also present in the ceremony. The group of surgeons included Richard Gullan, Irfan Malik, Chris Chandler, Nick Thomas, David Bell, Christos Tolias, Senan Barazi, Shujjaud Din, Bahram Fakouri, Saqib Bashir, Shafafi, Arif Khan, Azhar Khan, Dr Zubair, Robert Weeks, Dr N Ahmad, Dominico Valenti, David Lawrence and Kostas Barakas. The partnership will help establish world class spinal and neurosurgery, rehabilitation and nerve injury repair centres in Bahria Town hospitals at Bahria Enclave Islamabad and Bahria Golf City Islamabad,” as per a statement issued by a Bahria town official. “For this purpose, machinery and equipment have already been purchased and the installation will be completed by October under the supervision of British surgeons,” the officials added further. Bahria Town (Private) Limited is a privately owned real-estate development company in Karachi which develops, owns and administer properties across Pakistan. The company was established in late-1990s and developed its first gated community in southern Rawalpindi region on the Grand Trunk Road. This was the same project which was further been expanded into nine phases in 2000 which then got distributed into two compounds. Moreover, its second gated community got established in Lahore, which was heavily influenced by Greco-Roman culture. In 2015, the company then launched Bahria Town Karachi, which was amongst he biggest one of the gated communities they build.
